Academic Programme details

INTAKE:
GRADUATE COURSES
 Degree Course B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
It is a  Degree course in Dentistry, of a duration of 5 academic years .
Number of Admissions - 100
Academic year begins from August each year.
 Eligibility Criteria :
 Qualification: P.U.C. or equivalent course of 10+2 stage, with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as the optional and English as one of the main study language.
Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry and 50% of marks in English.
 

POSTGRADUATE COURSES
 Postgraduate degree courses in M.D.S. (Master of Dental Surgery)
It is a postgraduate degree with a specialization in a particular subject and is of 3 years duration. The M.D.S. course is available in eight different specializations.

  1. Oral Medicine & Radiology
  2. Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry
  3. Oral & Maxillo-facial Surgery
  4. Periodontics
  5. Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
  6. Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge
  7. Community Dentistry
  8. Orthodontics

Eligibility Criteria :
Qualification : B.D.S. Degree with 50% in an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
When to apply : In the month of April/May every year.
Academic year begin in the month of June each year
 

Admission details

Admission details :
 80% of seats are reserved for the merit quota and the same will be filled by the JSS UNIVERSITY from among the students appearing the Entrance Test held in April/May of each year.
20% of the seats are earmarked to be filled by the management by merit from the other candidates (NRI/ INSTITUTIONAL PRFERENCES).

 Fee
 As prescribed by the authorities that may be changed in due time.
